Global Voice on Herbalism By Ekpuk Jumbo: Founder, CombiHs Natural Health Care
Have You Ever Wondered Why Nature Still Heals When Technology Fails?
For more than 28 years, I’ve studied tropical diseases and their impact on the human body. In my 63 years of life, one truth keeps echoing — nature heals deeply. This truth fuels my commitment to building a Global Voice on Herbalism, where natural healing and scientific understanding unite to restore health and balance worldwide.
This truth fuels my advocacy for a Global Voice on Herbalism — a movement that calls the world to recognize the power, science, and wisdom in natural healing. Herbalism is not folklore; it is an evidence-backed discipline with measurable potency, nutrient density, and therapeutic benefits.
What Is Herbalism — A Scientific and Natural Healing Art

Herbalism is both an art and a science. It uses plants and plant parts to restore, maintain, and optimize health. From roots and bark to flowers and seeds, every plant section carries bioactive compounds that work synergistically with the human body.
Scientists have identified more than 50,000 medicinal plant species globally. These plants contain nutrients and phytochemicals — including flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, terpenoids, saponins, and phenolics — which have distinct pharmacological actions such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and immunomodulatory effects.
This is the foundation of the Global Voice on Herbalism: showing that herbal medicine is not guesswork but a form of nature-based pharmacology validated by science.
